Shane McMahon’s music hit the arena as he came down to interrupt Owens. It led to yet another confrontation between them. The heel one went onto blast the Smackdown commissioner for his actions over the past few weeks. He mentioned Shane’s kids for a few times. A furious McMahon put his hands on Owens leading to brawling.

The scheduled matchup between Natalya and Carmella took place, next. The latter one was distracted by James Ellsworth throwing the Money in the Bank briefcase. Nattie rolled her up for a quick win. A frustrated Carmella took the mic and blasted Ellsworth. She also confirmed that their association is over.

Dolph Ziggler made his entrance with his usual theme music. After cutting a promo, he went back and came out with John Cena’s music. He did the same for a couple of times again with Macho Man and Naomi’s theme. Later, he took the mic and said that he does not deserve, as he is simply the best inside the ring.

Daniel Bryan came down to the ring to address the earlier actions of Shane McMahon putting his hands on Kevin Owens. He revealed that he received a call from Vince McMahon who gave an order. Effective immediately, Shane was suspended from his job until further confirmation. Shane left the arena with a round of applause from the crowd.

Aiden English then defeated Sami Zayn in another match. Baron Corbin defeated Tye Dillinger by hitting the End of Days on him. AJ Styles was present at the ringside who proposed that next week on Smackdown he will give Tye another shot to the US title.

In the main event of Smackdown, Nakamura defeated Randy Orton by connecting with a Kinshasa to become the new number one contender for the WWE Championship. We got a plug in for next week’s Smackdown where Vince McMahon will be present to address the situation between Owens and Shane McMahon.
