Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (Intercontinental Championship Match)
Dean Ambrose was seemingly in pain from Sunday’s TLC match but he was on the verge to pin the IC champion before James Ellsworth showed up again to distract the referee as Ambrose had hooked the Miz’s leg for the pin. The distraction made Ambrose furious but gave the Miz enough time to hit the skull crushing finale to retain his title.
The Miz celebrated with her wife as Smackdown went off air.
