Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (IC title match)
Prior to the main event, Maryse confronted Renee Young in the locker room area and advised her to stay away from The Miz. She further insulted Renee by slapping her. Ambrose vowed to claim the IC title from the Miz and he did it in style on the main event of Smackdown. Maryse slapped Ambrose to cause disqualification. However, Ambrose asked the referee not to do it and banned Maryse from the ringside. Miz took the upper hand with this distraction and hit Ambrose with the championship belt but Ambrose kicked out. He then reversed the skull crushing finale into the Dirty Deeds for the win. Ambrose ended Smackdown by celebrating with the IC title.
