This week’s Smackdown begins the two-night journey for WWE Draft 2021. The star-studded night is going to affect the roster, big-time after which the landscape of the company will change. Builds for WWE Crown Jewel will begin as we expect fallouts from the bygone Extreme Rules PPV event. Also, Edge and Sasha Banks are set to make a return on the blue brand show that takes place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

Draft 2021 brings excitement for the WWE Universe as Raw and Smackdown rosters are about to be shaken up. Some top superstars will be shifting their spots and reports suggest Drew McIntyre is going to be one of them. He will get traded to Friday Nights in return for Big E who’s recently arrived on Raw by winning the WWE Championship. NXT Superstars are also likely to be involved in the Draft.

Roman Reigns faced The Demon Finn Balor for the Universal Championship in the main event of WWE Extreme Rules 2021 and it had witnessed a controversial finish. During the end of the match, The Demon got speared through the ringside barricade by WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Suddenly, the lights went red and an unconscious Balor got back to his feet while reacting to the heartbeats from his entrance music. He was on the verge of winning the title by putting away Reigns with the Coup De Grace but suddenly he fell down to the mat as the top turnbuckle of the ring collapsed.

The eleven-time world champion will be on this week’s Smackdown for the first time since receiving a Stomp on his head and being stretchered out of the ring, back on September 10. Per the reports of Wrestling Observer, Edge vs. Rollins will go down at Crown Jewel 2021, later this month,

“It looks like Saudi is gonna be Edge & Seth, Bill Goldberg & Lashley, and for sure it’s Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. So, that’s the deal right now.”

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch wrestled Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules for the title. As the challenger was close to putting away the champion with her KOD finisher, Sasha Banks made her return by attacking both the women and thereby keeping the match in a disqualified state.

The return of The Boss has put an end to the speculations around her status since she missed Summerslam 2021 for no confirmed reasons. Now she has also confirmed her appearance on this week’s Smackdown as she looks forward to confronting both Lynch and Belair to set up a three-way situation to the title picture.
