Super Show Down is just four days away in WWE PPV schedule which is the focus of tonight’s Smackdown. A number of matches on the show will take place from the blue brand. These bouts should receive the final hypes on tonight’s show. The WWE championship scenario is the main attraction for the show. Smackdown GM will address how things went down between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, last week.
Daniel Bryan will be in action against one of the veteran superstars on the roster. The Milwaukee mystery will unfold involving Lana who might have cheated on Rusev. Plus, there will be an entertaining mixed tag team match when R-Truth and Carmella pair up, again. All of these will be in-store for Smackdown when the show takes place from the Moda Center, Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon.
Smackdown concluded last week in a curious note when Samoa Joe tried to enter AJ Styles house. It will be interesting to see whether he had entered Styles’ house, for real. These two will square off at Super Show Down over the WWE Championship. To boost up the bad blood in this feud, the creative team inserted Styles’ family into the mix. But has Samoa Joe already gone beyond the limit talking crap about the champ’s family? Paige will address the situation between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe to kick things off.
The Smackdown women’s championship scenario has also been a solid storyline between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. The new champion is on a roll with a mean streak by her side for quite sometimes. She attacked Charlotte from behind forcing her to miss the episode. Tonight, we expect the Queen to come back seeking redemption and giving one final message to Becky for Super Show Down. Meanwhile, Becky promised a surprise for her opponent at Super Show Down.
One of the most intriguing storylines has started on Smackdown Live when Aiden English dropped a pipe-bomb on Lana. As per his comments, Lana has done something fishy to cheat on her husband. The Ravishing Russian is claiming that she has not done something to break Rusev’s trust. But Aiden promised to come up with a video footage as an evidence against Lana. We can’t wait to learn what it is going to be.
R-Truth and Carmella will continue to perform as a team on Smackdown. They will take on against Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega. These two are the hottest stars on the blue brand, as of now. So the officials are trying to put them over using the other contemporary names. The Mexican pair should pick up the win to continue their momentums on the show.
The Bar will continue their feud against The New Day before going into Super Show Down for the tag team title match. Plus, Randy Orton will begin a new feud against Tye Dillinger on Smackdown after the attack from last week. The man with the ‘Perfect 10’ gimmick needed this badly to rejuvenate his career. Also, Daniel Bryan will lock horns in a match against Shelton Benjamin on the show. The Miz will definitely try to steal momentums from Bryan before they square off at Super Show Down.
