WWE Smackdown Preview (05/02/19): Daniel Bryan-Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton-Mustafa Ali, Rusev-Nakamura Tag Team 1

Smackdown will deliver a huge WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber. We have received six participants to take part in this match on last week’s show. Four of them will be engaging in heated contests to gain momentums as we head towards the second last event before Wrestlemania. The main event of the night is going to feature the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan himself against the Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy.

Shane McMahon to compete in tag team title match

The other solid match of the night will feature a fresh contest. Randy Orton takes on against Mustafa Ali in a bout that we have never seen before. Also, a strange tag team will show up and compete against the Good Brothers as a fallout of last week’s heated confrontation. We also expect to get the final name for the women’s Elimination Chamber from Smackdown brand. All of these are coming up when the show airs from the Angel of Winds Arena in Everett, Washington.

Daniel Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy is a marquee match on any given night and place. These two are the very bests in the game of pro-wrestling who has done it all. So it will be a pleasure to see them square off in a match on Smackdown. Apart from the in-ring contents, the winner will come out of the match for Elimination Chamber set for February 17th. It is likely that the new Daniel Bryan will have the upper hand. Eric Rowan will stand by his side to ensure that the title-holder gets the victory.

Randy Orton is focused enough before entering the Elimination Chamber that he has been a part of in the past. But he has not faced someone like Mustafa Ali in the past who is so agile inside the ring. The Viper’s mean streaks will go straight to encounter the high-flying moves of Mustafa Ali. Will it be enough to put down the superstar imported from 205 Live? There’s a big chance that Ali might pull off a shocker on Smackdown.

Sonya Deville-Mandy Rose and The IIconics are the two tag teams those have declared their names for Elimination Chamber match. This leaves only one final spot from the Smackdown brand who can claim to be a part of the historic match. Speculations suggested that none other Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch would have formed the final team. But Becky Lynch is under suspension as per Stephanie McMahon’s orders. So perhaps, Naomi and Lana might team up to fill up the third spot from the blue brand for Elimination Chamber.

WWE.com confirmed yet another match on tonight’s Smackdown where we will get to see an unthinkable team. Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura are teaming up to face the Good Brothers. WWE.com already hinted certain tensions between Rusev and Nakamura,

“Nakamura & Rusev laid R-Truth out with a brutal assault after being incredibly frustrated that they both suffered roll-up losses to Truth with the United States Title on the line. After the fact, both The King of Strong Style & The Bulgarian Brute were confronted by Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, who were not happy with their treatment of Truth and challenged them to a match. Both Nakamura & Rusev agreed, but then The Super Athlete told Nakamura in no uncertain terms that he shouldn’t think about betraying him.”

It should go down as a fight where Rusev and Nakamura will fail to co-exist. R-Truth can cause distractions for them seeking revenge from last week where both the heels beat him down. This will earn the victories to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows who is looking for an opportunity for a long time. The big win tonight might hand them a title match in due course.
