En route to Wrestlemania 38, we expect another collision between two top champions on WWE Smackdown. At this point, both WWE and Universal Champion are booked to collide on the show in the headliner segment. Nothing much is confirmed but we expect the rivalry over the Smackdown Women’s Title will also escalate when another blue brand edition airs from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar kicked off last week’s WWE SmackDown and he was angry over the absence of the Universal Champion Roman Reigns on the show. Lesnar was looking for Reigns after he busted him open at the Madison Square Garden live event.

The Beast proceeded to call out Reigns on multiple occasions as he wanted blood for blood. However, Paul Heyman came out and said Brock got smashed by The Tribal Chief. Heyman then said that Roman wasn’t there on WWE Smackdown.

Lesnar then questioned who will save Heyman as he chased the advocate general to the backstage area. A lot of security guys tried to stop Brock, but they got taken out by the champion. This allowed Heyman to escape in an SUV.

WWE has since announced that The Beast and The Tribal Chief “will collide” during this Friday’s WWE SmackDown on FOX. This segment takes place just two weeks before their Winner Takes All Title Unification Match at Night Two of WrestleMania 38. Not much details have been revealed around what WWE has in store for the two champions but a preview on the official website offered the following,

“After suffering a steel step onslaught at the hands of The Bloodline during a Madison Square Garden Live Event, an irate WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is on a mission to get even with Universal Champion Roman Reigns and dish out the full retribution that is The Beast. Find out what happens when Lesnar collides with The Head of the Table, just weeks before The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All-Time, this Friday at 8/7 C on WWE SmackDown.”

WWE Smackdown Preview (18/03/22): Flair-Rousey program to continue

No other matches or segments have been announced for the show but the WWE Events website has Ronda Rousey, WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, Sasha Banks, and Shayna Baszler booked for the show.

Things went nasty between two Wrestlemania rivals, Rousey and Flair as WWE Smackdown went off the air, last week. Flair stayed true to her promise of tapping Rousey out by applying an interesting submission maneuver on the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble winner.

WWE Smackdown Preview (18/03/22): Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns Collide 2

In a brutal parking lot brawl between the WrestleMania opponents, Flair suplex-ed Rousey onto the hood of the car and then bent her with that submission hold to end the show went off the air. While doing so, she also hit several WWE Officials, creating an unpleasant scene. Will there be consequences? Will Rousey fire back in a valiant way? We’ll find out when WWE Smackdown airs with the latest episode on FOX.
