The second-last episode of WWE Smackdown for Survivor Series WarGames takes place this week where the Men’s WarGames Match lineup is expected to be revealed. Shotzi is set to compete against Baszler in a singles contest. Plus, the WWE World Cup will continue when WWE’s blue brand show emanates from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Ex WWE Smackdown Superstar Already On Her Way Back To Company
As confirmed earlier, WWE will present two WarGames matches at the WWE Survivor Series WarGames premium live event on Saturday, November 26. From Raw Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim, and a TBA partner will take on DAMAGE CTRL, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley in the women’s WarGames match.
From WWE Smackdown, the men’s five-on-five WarGames match build is already underway. The Bloodline will be on one side of the match while a new team forming on the blue brand will stand against the top-most faction of the WWE.
Considering the brawl that went down last week on WWE Smackdown, The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn) vs. Drew McIntyre, The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland) and Kevin Owens should be the lineup for Men’s WarGames matchup.
Reports from PWInsider did confirm that Kevin Owens has been dealing with an MCL sprain as occurred during this past Sunday’s WWE Live Event. As a result, Owens is also being rumored to get replaced in the WarGames Match. But then again, we have to wait to know more about the situation as The Prizefighter is still scheduled to appear on this week’s WWE Smackdown despite the reported injury.

WWE Smackdown Preview (18/11/22): Updates from WWE World Cup Tournament

The first-ever WWE Smackdown World Cup has begun last week onwards with the participants being Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn, Butch, Santos Escobar, Mustafa Ali, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, and Braun Strowman.
In the first set of First-Round Matches, Mexico’s Santos Escobar defeated Japan’s Shinsuke Nakamura while USA’s Braun Strowman smashed India’s Jinder Mahal to advance to the semifinal. Now, these two superstars await their opponents in the semis.
The second set of WWE Smackdown World Cup First-Round matches is scheduled for this week. In the first one of them, Sami Zayn of Bloodline will represent Canada to go up against Butch of The Brutes who will represent The United Kingdom. In the next match, Pakistan’s Mustafa Ali will collide with USA’s Ricochet in a possible high-octane encounter.

Last week, Shotzi defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, and Xia Li in a Six-Pack Challenge to win a shot at Ronda Rousey and her WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. The matchup between Rousey and Shotzi has also been confirmed for the Survivor Series premium live event.
However, Shotzi’s win has been belittled by Rousey’s best friend Shayna Baszler and the latter has also attacked Shotzi, backstage. After putting the new challenger down with the Kirifuda Clutch submission, Baszler will now lock horns with Shotzi to possibly hurt her in one of the major attractions of this week’s WWE Smackdown.
