Celebrity Logan Paul has been confirmed for an appearance on this week’s WWE Smackdown as he gears up for his title match against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles will be on the line in the possible main event of the night while Liv Morgan will also be in action on the October 21st episode that takes place at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.
NXT Halloween Havoc 2022: Spoiler On Two New Champions At WWE PLE
WWE confirmed Logan Paul vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for Crown Jewel in a press conference in Las Vegas nearly several weeks ago. Two weeks later from that announcement, the two came face-to-face on WWE Smackdown in an in-ring confrontation during the show’s season premiere.
As the title match at Crown Jewel comes closer, Paul is prepping up with the legendary Shawn Michaels helping him out in the ring. But with Reigns’ cohorts standing in the way, the celebrity YouTuber will have to overcome insurmountable odds in order to become the new champion.
That being said, Logan Paul is confirmed to make his return to WWE Smackdown in the latest episode as he looks forward to continuing the builds for WWE Crown Jewel. With The Bloodline recently experiencing some problems, it’s certain that he would try to broaden the crack.

WWE Smackdown Preview (21/10/22): Liv Morgan vs. Sonya Deville
Almost two weeks ago at the Extreme Rules premium live event, Liv Morgan put the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules match. She hoped to bring out the most extreme side of her but that wasn’t enough to put down the ‘baddest woman on the planet.’ A game Rousey beat her with a unique submission to win the title at the bygone PLE.
Since then, we have been seeing a transition for Liv Morgan into a dark character. First, she passed out to Rousey’s submission with a smile on her face and then acted in a weird speechless way in a backstage interview conducted by Megan Morant.
Last week on WWE Smackdown, Morgan put Sonya Deville through a table after the latter insulted her for the loss against Rousey. This week, Morgan gets the chance to beat Deville up, once more when the two go into action in a singles capacity.
Dakota Kai and IYO SKY will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi on this week’s WWE Smackdown in the potential main event segment. The match was announced after Bayley, Kai, and SKY of Damage CTRL defeated Rodriguez, Shotzi, and Roxanne Perez in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match.
This match on WWE Smackdown will mark Damage CTRL’s first title defense since they won the belts from the former champions, Rodriguez and Aliyah, on the September 12 WWE Raw episode in a rematch of their loss to the same team in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament finals.
