WWE presents the go-home edition of SmackDown for the Survivor Series PPV event, tonight. It will also mark the beginning for one of the biggest weekends of the year on the same venue where the PPV emanates this Sunday.
So the final hypes will be there on the show that has a huge six-man tag team action as the headliner.
Daniel Bryan will call out the Universal Champions just days prior to their championship match at Survivor Series. Sasha Banks collides against Nikki Cross in a singles contest from the female roster.
Also, we expect multiple invasions throughout SmackDown which emanates from the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
As mentioned above, this episode of SmackDown will have the main-event featuring Roman Reigns.
The team captain of the blue brand for Survivor Series will team up with Mustafa Ali & Shorty G to face Corbin, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. WWE.com hyped up the contest mentioning the happenings from last two weeks,
“Last week, Mustafa Ali & Shorty G’s technical and high-flying prowess was on display as the tandem defeated Ziggler & Roode with the help of Reigns in policing Corbin’s attempts to tip the scales in favor of his preferred blue brand running mates.
The week prior, the king earned a victory over Reigns with an intervention by The Showoff & The Glorious One that led to Corbin catching The Big Dog with a vicious End of Days to secure the pin.
Will the former Team Hogan teammates be able to silence the attacks? Or will King Corbin and his running mates Ziggler & Roode force the subjects to kneel before their new leader in the same manner that the costumed “Big Dog” did on last week’s SmackDown?”
Corbin mentioned that he has a perfect plan to stop Roman Reigns from getting the upper-hand during their feud. He did not disclose the details.
But apparently, he does have a weapon hidden in his arsenal that may give him the win, tonight.
It will also give him the opportunity to brag about the fact that Reigns may not be the perfect one to lead SmackDown at Survivor Series.
For the first time in SmackDown, Bray Wyatt is now being advertised to have a live segment. Daniel Bryan will summon him into the ring as per WWE.com,
“Before the two competitors meet for the Universal Title at WWE’s Fall Classic, Bryan summons Wyatt to the ring for a pre-Survivor Series confrontation on Friday Night SmackDown.
The rivalry has escalated in recent weeks with the Universal Champion’s backstage attack and “Miz TV” disruption, which led to Bryan laying down the title challenge.
Will Bryan send a message before the Survivor Series showdown? Can Wyatt’s mind games get his adversary back into a “Yes!” state of mind? Catch the confrontation on SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX.”
Now it’ll be interesting to see if Bray Wyatt shows up to have a talking segment with Daniel Bryan.
But considering that Survivor Series is just merely 48 hours away, you never know if The Fiend avatar appears to deliver a heinous attack on Bryan so that he gets mentally choked before the title match.
Sasha Banks has been added to compete on this week’s SmackDown in a fresh match against Nikki Cross. It is an interesting lineup considering that they’ll eventually team up at Survivor Series representing the same brand.
The match may not end in a proper way as there will be several names waiting in the line from Raw and NXT to invade the show. So there are chances that the match may get disqualified.
This will definitely not be the only trespassing expected on the show. The men’s division will also be waiting to pounce on any given occasions on the SmackDown roster.
NXT has already tried their luck and tonight, Raw may also join them to beat up the blue brand residents on this Chicago edition.
