Tonight marks the final episode of SmackDown that airs on the USA Network. With the older stage and less pyrotechnics, fans will have to wait for a bit before the show gets a major revamp. But there won’t be any stop for the WWE Champion who has a beast incarnate targeting him on next week’s show. He will respond after the heinous attack by Brock Lesnar, last week.

The SmackDown Women’s Champion will have The Queen still eyeing for her title that might produce a rematch at Hell in a Cell. The Intercontinental Champion will wait for the next contender in line whereas Roman Reigns will also try to fire back against the combined forces of Rowan and Harper. All of these and more will be waiting for us when Smackdown Live airs on USA Network for one last time from the Chase Arena in San Francisco, California.

The main event picture of SmackDown Live changed drastically following what happened, last week. Just two weeks before the big debut on FOX, Brock Lesnar showed up to issue a challenge to Kofi Kingston. The Champion was ready to give a positive response to it and thereby setting his next title defense. The match will go down on the new season premiere and thereby the 20th anniversary of the show.

But Brock Lesnar made a major statement by dropping Kofi Kingston with a vicious F-5 that left the pro-wrestling world talking about it. There isn’t much hope left for the reigning champion who is set to defend his championship against perhaps the most dominant superstar of this decade. Heading into the fight, we will hear out how Kofi is preparing for the fight of a lifetime in an exclusive interview segment.

In the Women’s Championship scenario, Bayley has formed a strong alliance with Sasha Banks to dominate the scene. But Charlotte Flair was still able to fend off the antics of the heel duo as the rivalry from Clash of Champions is still going on. The bygone title match was short in length anyway to indicate that a rematch is coming. So it may be evident that Charlotte Flair gets another shot at the title at Hell in a Cell. As for tonight, Flair teams up with Carmella to take the combined force of Sasha Banks and Bayley to earn her opportunity with a pinfall win.

The storyline featuring Roman Reigns is becoming complex than ever on SmackDown. The life-threatening attacks on him have nothing to do with Daniel Bryan, at all. Rather, the team of Harper and Rowan has assaulted both Reigns and Bryan, last week. So it appears that this duo has to team to fend off the two behemoths also known as The Bludgeon Brothers. Indicating the same, WWE.com has announced that these two will have a face-to-face confrontation on the show.

It appears that WWE is building towards a tag team match at Hell in a Cell rather than an earlier thought singles contest between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. These two are likely to team up at the next pay-per-view event against Rowan and Harper in a match that will be physical. But before that, Reigns must be looking forward to replying to the attacks from the heel duo. Also, we will see if Daniel Bryan turns into a babyface before teaming up with Roman Reigns.

In the Intercontinental Championship picture, the dull feud between Shinsuke Nakamura and The Miz is over. The heel champion has now been looking for a new challenger who is likely to be Ali. Last week, he digested an attack by Nakamura and Sami Zayn that has started a program that was about to happen a long time ago. Hopefully this time around, the youngster Ali gets a shot at the IC title as he is looking for the big break for a long time.
