Pat Patterson Tribute Match was next on SmackDown with the lineup of Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, and Big E vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Bryan locked in the YES Lock but Sami countered with a Brainbuster. The two tangled as Bryan rolled Sami like Patterson to get the win. After the match, Rey hit a 619 on Ziggler while Big E hit a Big Ending on Ziggler.
Charlotte Flair Wishes To Have Strong End To 2020; Teases WWE Return
SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and Carmella had a war of words from two different areas. The segment ended with Banks offering a title match to Carmella at TLC. Mella cut the feed off instead of answering.
The rematch between King Corbin and Murphy took place on SmackDown. The Mysterio family accompanied Murphy while Corbin brought his backups. Murphy brought back Corbin out of the ring who advised his security to attack Rey Mysterio and Dominik and they did so. Murphy went to help but while coming back, he was planted with an End of Days to digest a loss.
Otis and Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso was the main event of this week’s SmackDown. Otis was taken out after Reigns slammed him to the steel ring steps. Uso missed a Frogsplash as Reigns wanted the tag. Owens dropped Uso with a Stunner but Reigns broke the pin attempt and applied the Guillotine Submission after which the referee called off the match. Uso and Reigns gave some chair shots to Owens to beat him down. Reigns then attacked Uso with the chair, as well for disobeying him during the match. He stood tall as the show went off the air.
