Cesaro competed in a match against Lince Dorado on SmackDown where he went for a big Razor’s Edge Bomb but Dorado took him down. Cesaro countered with a big uppercut and hit the Gotch Neutralizer for the victory.

The Fiend Bray Wyatt appeared on SmackDown where we saw Alexa Bliss sitting in the middle of the ring. He wanted to apply the Mandible Claw just like last week but Bliss stopped her. She looked up at him and caresses his face that forced The Fiend to back down. Braun Strowman appeared on the big screen and said that he is ready to defend the Universal Championship against The Fiend at SummerSlam to end the segment.

Jeff Hardy vs. King Baron Corbin was the next matchup on SmackDown where Hardy was unloading but Corbin countered with a Deep-six. Hardy blocked the End of Days and digested a Kneestrike and got sent to the floor. Sheamus appeared at ringside and hit Hardy with a Brogue Kick to let him win the match via disqualification.

After what transpired on SmackDown, King Baron Corbin competed in a match against Sheamus. Corbin leveled Sheamus with a clothesline when Matt Riddle appeared at ringside. He springboarded into the ring to distract Corbin as Sheamus took advantage of the scene and hit a Brogue Kick on Corbin to win the match.
