Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Big E was the next match lineup on SmackDown where E hit a big splash but Sami raked his eyes before going for the Helluva Kick. E caught him with the Uranage but Sami rolled out of the ring. He ran away and made it back in the ring just before the referee’s ten-count to get a victory.
Bayley was talking trash about Bianca Belair, backstage while wishing luck to Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s Championship match. Belair eventually confronted her and advised her to keep her name away from her mouth.
Kevin Owens appeared in the ring with TLC equipment surrounding it. He was cutting a promo when Jey Uso suddenly attacked him with a chair on the back. Owens backfired and put Jey through a table with a Pop-up Powerbomb. He went to the back to search for Reigns who attacked him from behind. The Tribal Chief put him down before leaving a message to Owens’ family.
