Sami Zayn hosted the SAMI Award show and he was presenting the awards to himself until Big E accidentally received the Superstar of the Year Award. Sami was confused and she tried to hit E from behind. E then slammed Sami on a table before launching him down the ramp.
Bayley competed against Bianca Belair in the scheduled match on SmackDown. Belair’s left arm was slammed hard on the apron which was hurt. Despite that, Belair went for a Powerbomb attempt. Bayley raked into the eyes of Belair and then put her down face-first with a modified Skull Crushing Finale for the pin to win.
Roman Reigns appeared in the final segment of SmackDown but he got interrupted by Kevin Owens. He unloaded on Reigns but Jey Uso attacked with a Superkick while Reigns planted him with a Spear. Reigns then planted Owens with a Samoan Drop through a table before burying him under the debris of TLC. Reigns went backstage but Owens got out of the debris and mentioned how he’s going to take away that Universal Title from Reigns at TLC to send the show off-air.
