Roman Reigns has long become an irregular figure on WWE Smackdown and he missed the show, this week. But in light of WWE’s weekly program moving to FS1, next week from FOX Sports, the undisputed champion will be back on board to keep the viewership numbers as much up as possible.

After a promo segment from Jey Uso, Paul Heyman announced that next week, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will meet for a “rules of engagement” face-off on WWE Smackdown. Solo Sikoa also talked in the segment and blamed what happened to Jimmy Uso, is all because of Jey, and that their parents will never forgive Jey.

WWE Smackdown: Updates From Championship Invitational On July 14 Episode

WWE Smackdown: Roman Reigns’ Return; LA Knight Announced For July 21 Episode 1

Eventually, a brawl broke out around the ring with Jey and Sikoa engaged in a physical capacity. Jey got the upper hand after delivering a series of chair shots and superkicks to Sikoa. Jey even saved a superkick for “The Wiseman” of The Tribal Chief, Paul Heyman to end the segment.

The “Rules of Engagement” on next week’s WWE Smackdown comes as a fallout of the loss suffered by Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa to The Usos at Money in the Bank. During last week’s MSG edition, a Tribal Court segment aired where Reigns was seen in full manipulation mode before delivering a low blow to Jey and then destroying Jimmy Uso with a brutal assault.

Before WWE Smackdown came to an end, Jey Uso returned through the crowd and took out Sikoa with multiple chair shots before focusing on Roman’s undisputed championship. He laid out the challenge for a title match that should be confirmed for Summerslam.
