Roman Reigns has not been appearing on WWE TV for the past couple of weeks but he will be returning to WWE SmackDown, tonight which is being built up as a massive episode. Due to the top champion’s priorities with family, he’s making fewer appearances in WWE these days and it’s safe to say that WWE is making each of his appearances even more important every time he shows up on TV.
It appears that the December 16 episode of WWE SmackDown in Chicago, Illinois will be no different as Roman Reigns finds his way back to WWE programming for the first time since WWE Survivor Series WarGames. He competed at the premium live event at the WarGames Match where Sami Zayn proved his worth to The Bloodline and hit his former best friend Kevin Owens with a low blow, allowing The Bloodline to get win.

The Honorary Uce then followed it up with a Helluva Kick and allowed Jey Uso to have his moment as Jey connected with a Frog Splash on KO off the top rope to secure the pinfall win on behalf of his team. We believe with the group leader coming back to the scene for the first time since then, there would be a ton of fallouts.
Ahead of this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns took to Twitter to send a message to the WWE Universe. Staying true to his TV character, he claimed he and The Bloodline are the best in the world and it isn’t even close.
“Chicago!!!! Get ready to acknowledge your Tribal Chief and the greatness of The #Bloodline. The undeniable best in the world and it’s not even close.@HeymanHustle @WWEUsos @WWESoloSikoa @SamiZayn”

Roman Reigns and The Bloodline have something planned for Sami Zayn on SmackDown
Last week on SmackDown, The Usos defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against The Brawling Brutes’ members Sheamus and Butch. Sami Zayn was at ringside and once again he ensured that Usos continue with their title reign. Jimmy and Jey isolated Butch in the ring and planted him with the 1D. Sheamus tried to break up the fall count but he couldn’t get in the ring as Sami was holding The Celtic Warrior from outside the ring and the referee never saw that.
After the match, Sami had a conversation with Jey Uso backstage where the latter plugged in how The Honorary Uce is proving his loyalty to them. He was also advised to get a shave and haircut in light of Roman Reigns’ return on SmackDown. Jey added that Sami is in for a big night from Chicago,
“Just saying man – after WarGames, with how you’ve been leveling up every week, I think next week in Chicago is going to be a real big night for you. Yeet? Trim it up.”
Roman Reigns could turn on Sami Zayn
There have been speculations about Roman Reigns and The Bloodline possibly turning on Sami Zayn as pointed out by Kevin Owens in the recent past on many occasions. Both these two Canadian Superstars are said to be in line for the Tribal Chief’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship as the Road to WrestleMania 39 begins, next month.
