This week’s episode of WWE Smackdown featured a backstage segment between Emma and Shotzi Blackheart. Emma congratulated Shotzi during that segment as the latter ended up winning a six-pack challenge for a future shot at Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Shotzi defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, and Xia Li in a Six-Pack Challenge to emerge as Rousey’s next challenger. But she did remember how Emma took Rousey to her limit, two weeks ago on WWE Smackdown on the night of her surprise return to the WWE.

After Shotzi gave props to Emma for her matchup against Rousey, Emma asked Shotzi whether she had seen Madcap Moss, to which she replied negatively. But then Shotzi also teased Emma as the latter apparently has a storyline crush on Madcap. The segment ended with Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey confronting Shotzi. The Queen of Spades also choked the life out of Shotzi with the Kirifuda Clutch submission.

But the fans couldn’t help but get curious regarding the brewing angle between Emma and Madcap on WWE Smackdown. The two have been in a relationship since this past summer. It was revealed after the diva having the real name of Tenille Dashwood took to Instagram to share a romantic photo with Madcap Moss. Dashwood admitted that she has found her ‘captain’ in the WWE Smackdown superstar.
Vince McMahon often used to feature real-life romances between WWE Superstar in their television storyline and the tradition may just continue with Triple H in charge of creative things in the WWE. At this point, it’s hard to say what the WWE has in store for the new couple.
Emma returned on WWE Smackdown three weeks ago
Over on the On October 28 episode of WWE Smackdown, Emma made her comeback to the company by answering the Open Challenge issued by Ronda Rousey for her title. The veteran Australian Superstar took Rousey to her limits after which the champion had to utilize some sort of underhanded tactics to put away her.
After an illegal eye rake, Rousey hit Emma with Piper’s Pit and applied the Armbar to retain her WWE Smackdown Women’s Title. The rake to the eyes further solidified Rousey’s heel turn and also helped her to go through her first successful title defense of the ongoing run.
