Emma has been one of the most discussed persons for the WWE Universe since this Friday night due to her return on WWE Smackdown. She came out while answering Ronda Rousey’s Open Challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship and put up some valiant efforts to deliver a solid match.
However, she found herself on the losing end by tapping out to the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion in a match that nearly lasted for seven minutes. Rousey had to take the help of underhanded tactics by raking into the eyes of Emma before picking up the win with her armbar submission.
WWE Smackdown: Ronda Rousey Claims Pre-Determined Things Help Her A Lot
Prior to the match on WWE Smackdown, Rousey attempted to mock Emma and dance how she used to do while being on NXT and in the early stage of her main roster run. Due to this, Emma took to Twitter to note Rousey’s moves with the following comments,
“Nice to see @RondaRousey is a big Emma fan… Unfortunately she’s a worse dancer than me.”
WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion saw the tweet and fired back at the returning Superstar in quick time. Rousey suggested that Emma should quit WWE and participate in Dancing With The Stars,
“Well then maybe you’d have better luck at @officialdwts than @wwe #hugefan”

Ronda Rousey is the reigning WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion
Ronda Rousey defeated Liv Morgan at WWE Extreme Rules to start her second WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship reign. Since winning the title, Rousey has been showing heel antics. As of now, WWE is yet to book her against an opponent for WWE Crown Jewel. However, WWE can still announce her next title defense this Friday night.
As for Emma, her match on WWE Smackdown was the first time back in a WWE ring since her 2017 release after losing to Asuka in her second main roster match on Raw. Following the end of her WWE career, she wrestled under her real name, Tenille Dashwood, and found success by capturing the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championships alongside Madison Rayne in the IMPACT Wrestling promotion. The pairing known as The Influence held the titles for 106 days before losing the belts to Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie.
Currently, Emma has officially been inserted into the WWE Smackdown roster and she might get more chances to Ronda Rousey and her title in the near future.
