Just like WWE Raw, next week, there won’t be any live edition of WWE Smackdown, tonight. However, unlike the entirely scrapped red brand episode, next Monday night a taped version of the blue brand show will go down on FOX. The matches and segments for this show have already been filmed at the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois on December 16.
WWE Smackdown will resume being a live show on Friday, December 30th, the night when John Cena returns to team up with Kevin Owens to face Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. As for this week, the match outcomes from the taped show are out courtesy of NoDQ.com and you can check those out as given below:
– WWE Smackdown Women’s Title Number-One Contender’s Gauntlet Match: Raquel Rodriguez vs. Emma vs. Sonya Deville vs. Xia Li vs. Tegan Nox vs. Liv Morgan.
Xia Li defeated Emma and Tegan Nox before getting eliminated by Raquel Rodriguez who then proceeded to beat Liv Morgan, and Sonya Deville to win the match. However, Shayna Baszler came out as the surprise final entrant of the match Raquel still managed to defeat Baszler to win the Gauntlet and earn a shot at Ronda Rousey’s title.
– Bray Wyatt appeared in a promo and said that LA Knight owed him an apology. Wyatt then attacked the cameraman.
– Rey Mysterio defeated Angel of Los Lotharios in a match that Karrion Kross and Scarlett watched from the audience.

– The Bloodline appeared for a promo as Roman Reigns bragged about making millions by beating up John Cena and Kevin Owens on December 30. Paul Heyman plugged in the tag title match and Solo Sikoa vs. Sheamus set for December 30 WWE Smackdown. Zayn ended the promo about how Kevin Owens is a black cloud following him.
– Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Usos defeated Hit Row to retain their tag team titles after hitting Top Dolla with the 1D finisher. Sami Zayn was at ringside at the Usos corner while B-Fab accompanied Hit Row.

– In the main event of WWE Smackdown a Miracle on the 34th Trick or Street Fight Match, Braun Strowman, and Ricochet defeated Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci).
The New Day was inside some of the gift wraps dressed as nutcrackers. Ricochet kissed her girlfriend cum WWE announcer Samantha Irvin during the match. He and Strowman worked together to win the match and ended the show by giving away Holiday gifts to the fans.
