Roman Reigns introducing new championship on WWE Smackdown?

Since Wrestlemania 38 Night Two, Roman Reigns has dominated the WWE roster as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after capturing the two top world championship titles. Fightful Select now reports that several memos were sent out yesterday within WWE, regarding the 1,000-day celebration of the Tribal Chief on WWE Smackdown. The mention of a “New WWE Universal Championship” belt was there, meaning that a new belt could be coming for the champion.

While this sounds like pleasant news for Reigns, he’s not likely to be happy mood while arriving on WWE Smackdown since he and Solo Sikoa failed to capture the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships during the Night of Champions main event. The Bloodline members The Usos interfered and Jimmy Uso ended up superkick-ing his Tribal Chief, twice.

The implosion of The Bloodline may continue on WWE Smackdown but at the same time, the inauguration of a new championship will be a matter of discussion, the source further noted there will be a podium where the new championship will be unveiled. A similar presentation is expected much like when The Rock revealed the new WWE Championship in 2013. As of this writing, WWE is yet to confirm anything regarding the new championship title belt revelation on Smackdown.
