Coming off yet another successful title defense at Wrestlemania 39, Roman Reigns still rules the roost on WWE Smackdown as The Bloodline leader. Although his cousins, The Usos lost the Undisputed Tag Team Titles to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the main event of WrestleMania Saturday, they’re not likely to be removed from the show-runner position in the WWE. Rather, in the absence of The Tribal Chief, they’ll ensure Bloodline’s dominance.
However, the return of Matt Riddle caused an unwanted headache for them which will continue this week on WWE Smackdown. The Bloodline might be feeling slight pressure and it could be increasing, this week as two of their members may not be on the same page in the near future.
Roman Reigns To Face A Bloodline Member in Post WWE Wrestlemania 39 Season?
Jey Uso had his own storyline going on the road to WrestleMania 39 when he stepped aside from The Bloodline for a short time. Fans also questioned his ties with the faction until he finally reunited with them. However, another turn is considered on the Bloodline if not The tribal Chief is able to fix it.
The Bloodline to have differences on WWE Smackdown in Roman Reigns’ absence
For the time being, reports reveal that the cracks within The bloodline could be wide open starting from tonight’s WWE Smackdown. According to WRKD Wrestling, the April 14 episode will see Jey Uso and Paul Heyman getting involved in a tense situation. The Wise Man and one-half of the longest WWE tag team champions are expected to have disagreements,
“Tensions between Paul Heyman and Jey Uso will continue to rise even further during tomorrow night’s #SmackDown.”
With Roman Reigns currently in a post-Wrestlemania 39 hiatus from WWE Smackdown, the ties could be loosened within The Bloodline. However, the report further added that “eventually, not tomorrow, the Tribal Chief will have his say.” That being said, The Bloodline leader will continue to deal with issues as his faction continues to have issues.
Previous reports confirmed that The Tribal Chief is not slated to work Backlash which should be the main reason why WWE has booked Brock Lesnar to work that event as a part of their promotional deal. That being said, Roman Reigns won’t be on this week’s WWE Smackdown. But Matt Riddle will be there while Shinsuke Nakamura will also return, as confirmed by the WWE.
