WWE Smackdown video: AJ Styles lost in the WWE World title match 1

Tuesday Night Smackdown Live was hosted last night at the Pepsi center in Denver, Colorado, the same venue that hosted the previous night’s Monday Night Raw. Now Smackdown has just been over with the No Mercy PPV and has a long way to go till the next halt comes on November 20. It will be the next PPV for them in which both Raw and Smackdown will take part and hence the hype will be built slowly.
After digesting the pinfall against a nobody named James Ellsworth, AJ Styles had to defend his title against him. AJ Styles was furious over the fact despite his successful title defense at the No Mercy PPV. Also, we were supposed to see how things shape up after the Raw show-runners accept the Survivor Series challenge.
With that being said, Dean Ambrose wanted to be the special guest referee for tonight’s title match, as well. But, Daniel Bryan barred him from being that. However, he did let know that Ambrose can play the role of ring announcer or the timekeeper. So, Ambrose self-appointed himself as the ring announcer and made his way to the ring before the main event took place.

AJ Styles was not at all happy with Ambrose’s position. After announcing the names of the title match, The Lunatic ran towards the timekeeper area and kept hitting the bell. Taking advantage of the distraction, Ellsworth tried to take the upper-hand in Smackdown’s main event but Styles put him into the abdominal stretch. Ambrose stopped him from doing that as we headed towards a commercial break.

After a back and forth contest, Ambrose continued to distract Styles in the mic. Styles got furious with this and kept hitting Ellsworth with the elbows in the corner. The referee called for the bell and his opponent picked up the win via count-out. Ambrose announced Styles as the loser of the match and hit the Dirty deeds to close Smackdown.
