WWE Summerslam 2017: Rusev Vs Orton, Finn Balor Vs Bray Wyatt - Match Results 1

WWE arranged two huge matches from Raw and Smackdown featuring the marquee names. The first one was the match between Randy Orton and Rusev which is a fresh feud from the blue brand.

We have never seen these two getting into a rivalry during their WWE career. So, this was quite an entertaining feud from the get going.

Also, the feud started to heat up within just two weeks from the beginning with them having physical altercations on Smackdown for the past couple of weeks.

The match began with some familiar sequences, as Rusev attacked The Viper from behind during his entrance. He was sent face first into the steel ring post. The referee checked him and gave the signal to start the match.

Rusev went right after to attack, but Orton hit with an RKO out of nowhere to get the pinfall at the earliest!

In the case of Balor and Wyatt, it was always a mind game between these two competitors who possesses a superhuman persona of themselves. It is the reason why the match was considered to feature between two demons from the Raw brand.

Balor’s alter-ego, The Demon King, arrived at Summerslam with a spectacular entrance. It’s needless to say that the atmosphere was bone-chilling for the fans.

He was in full control for the earlier part of the match, as Wyatt tried to come back with a double stomp on his chest. But, Balor countered with a sling blade of his own.

Wyatt countered with a modified rock bottom and a clothesline, but Balor hit a second sling blade and set up for the Coup De Grace. He connected with it, successfully to pick up the grand win.
