WWE Super Show Down presented us some big-time matches from Melbourne, Australia. Unfortunately, there was not even a single championship match from WWE Raw. To make that up they came up with backup plans. One such match on the match card was Ronda Rousey and Bella Twins teaming up against the Riott Squad.
Some might complain the lineup but there’s no denying of the popularity of Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey. These two are the biggest mainstream attractions of the pro-wrestling industry no matter what. So putting them together was a great idea to attract the fans. It also helped to sell out the MCG in Australia, the hosting ground of Super Show Down.

There was a slight controversy around the match. The Bella Twins competed in a tag team action against The Riott Squad, two weeks ago. Brie Bella botched some Yes Kicks to Liv Morgan to hit her straight into the face. This gave her concussions right away. But thankfully she was okay to come back to action in time for Super Show Down.

So The Riott Squad made their entry to Super Show Down first for this matchup. The Bella Twins came out followed by Ronda Rousey who received a huge pop from the crowd. Nikki and Ronda could not get into the same page arguing over who should start the match. The women’s champion finally let Nikki start the match. But Ruby Riott took early control into the match coming from the back.

Riott was in control of the match as long as Nikki was part of the match. Ronda Rousey wanted the tag but the other half of the Bella Twins received the tag. Morgan entered the match and hit Brie hard onto the face to take redemption. She controlled the match until Nikki Bella entered the match, again dodging Ronda Rousey.

The three members of the Riott Squad wore down on half of the Bella Twins with rotational tags until Logan ate a big elbow from Nikki. Ronda Rousey finally entered the match and took out the Riotts with judo throws. Morgan and Logan tried to double-team but Ronda Rousey caught both their arms to lock in a Double Arm-bar. Both women tapped out to let the babyface team win this Super Show Down tag match.
