At the Greatest Royal Rumble event, The Undertaker returned to in-ring competition. He featured in a Casket Match against the Bulgarian Brute, Rusev. After a couple of alterations in the match card, the match finally happened to entertain the crowd.

The Deadman dominated the match, for the most part, to lock in Rusev into the casket to pick up the win.

It is to be noted that Aiden English was present at the ringside during this match and tried to help his buddy, Rusev. But, he felt the wrath of the Undertaker in no time. He digested the finishing maneuvers from the Phenome to finish the match.

Once the Undertaker pushed Rusev into the casket, Aiden English entered the ring and got caught up in a chokeslam.

Moreover, a Tombstone Piledriver was hit to him. After that, he was sent into the casket, too. Apparently, it was at this moment when English suffered an injury.

As per the previous reports, the Tombstone Piledriver has affected his head and neck.

In general, the Undertaker protects victim while delivering this move so that the victim does not get hurt in his head. But, as seen on the footages from the match, Aiden landed hard on his head.

This was the first time that he digested the most iconic move performed by The Undertaker.

Despite the warnings given, he did not adjust himself to avoid a havoc. There were reports that speculated about a severe neck and head injury. He was helped to the backstage by several officials, too.

However, thankfully, SportsKeeda confirmed that he is doing okay, right now. After the rumours broke out that the Tombstone might have injured Rusev’ partner, legit, the source confirmed that it is not that much severe,

“The buzz grew stronger when he was helped to the back by a host of WWE referees and officials. PWInsider did report subsequently that English is fine and was merely selling the effects of the Tombstone Piledriver. The internet wrestling community just got worked by English.”

Despite this unfortunate incident, Aiden English has his lifetime achievement by featuring in a match against the greatest performer of all-time; the Undertaker.

English will never forget this, for sure. It’s yet to be seen whether Undertaker will resurface to compete in a WWE match in the near future.
