Last year, WWE fired two women’s superstars from the roster. Both of them used to be popular ones due to their gorgeous looks although they never reached the top spot in their career, ever.

Emma and Summer Rae were the two names who were let known that their services are no longer required in the company in the month of October.

Both of them were sidelined from pro-wrestling industry for 90 days from that point onwards. It is due to the contractual obligation of the company which says that a released superstar cannot make any in-ring appearance under another banner.

It’s a particular clause that does not allow a superstar a sign a new contract after becoming a free agent.

Now, Summer Rae has never been considered as a skillful wrestler and rather was treated as valet performer for the better part of her WWE career. But, Emma was not someone like that.

She is a bonafide female wrestler who was not used in the WWE in the proper way.

To look after the four horsewomen members and girls like Paige or Alexa Bliss, the officials never put emphasize on her caliber.

So, soon after Emma was released from the company, she became the hottest free agent in the independent scene. She has started performing starting from February.

While it was speculated that she will be spending more of her times competing in the indies, that is not the case as she joined the Ring Of Honour promotion.

The Australian superstar debuted on WWE’s rival promotion under her real-name of Tenille Dashwood on Friday, February 9, 2018. She declared her involvement in a tournament to crown a new champion in the promotion.

“Tenille announced she would be joining the 16-woman, single-elimination style tournament to crown the inaugural ROH Women of Honor Champion. Tenille will be joining Brandi Rhodes, Jessie Brooks, Karen Q, Kelly Klein, Madison Rayne, Mandy Leon, Deonna Purrazzo, Holidead, Sumie Sakai, Jenny Rose, Stacy Shadows, HZK, Hana Kimura, Kagetsu, and Mayu Iwatani.”

Emma has been a bright talent since the day one she stepped foot in the NXT brand. But, injuries and lack of proper storyline did not let her earn the fame that she deserves.

Hopefully, joining the Ring of Honor promotion will give a good direction to her career as she can establish herself as a true female performer and not a jobber.
