WWE is returning with its Superstar Spectacle 2023 edition after a gap of a year to serve the fanbase of the Indian territory. Unlike the last time around, they will physically be present in the country to entertain the fans, live in person rather than presenting a show from the United States of America.
As per the latest announcement from the WWE, the professional wrestling brand alongside its superstars is scheduled to make its long-awaited return to India with WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 scheduled from the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli Indoor Stadium), Hyderabad, India, on Friday, September 8, 2023. The announcement also confirms the previous speculations of WWE finally visiting India after a long time.
Summerslam 2023: Update On The Rock’s Availability For August WWE PLE
The last time fans in India witnessed a live WWE show was in 2017 in New Delhi, India where Triple H main-evented the show with Jinder Mahal. This marks the first time that Hyderabad will be hosting a WWE show which is the overall eighth official tour of the WWE for an event in the country.
The WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 is a follow-up of the inaugural 2021 edition which was presented on the occasion of Indian Republic Day back in that year. At that point, WWE was having closed-door TV tapings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the taped show was broadcasted on January 26 from WWE’s ThunderDome arena in Florida.
