It was an emotional scene on this week’s edition of WWE Raw as Paige announced her retirement from the WWE. It was expected for a long time now considering multiple reports suggested about her bent neck which would never allow her to wrestle, ever.

Eventually, this is why she got sidelined from in-ring competition for the past several months but no official announcement was made available regarding this.

It finally came at the same venue in New Orleans where she made her main roster debut back in 2014. It is quite ironic that the Smoothie King Center witnessed the retirement of the popular superstar hanging up her boots, forever.

Alongside her, there were millions of fans around the world had tears in their eyes, for sure hearing about this sudden retirement.

Paige has always been considered as a trailblazer in the female division of the WWE.

It was her who brought some serious competition in the NXT division that was later introduced on the main roster, too.

The same tradition was followed by the likes of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Asuka and more of these generation superstars.

This is why she still is the only woman who held the NXT Women’s Championship and the WWE Divas Championship, at the same time.

Furthermore, Paige won the title at an age of 21 which indeed is an incredible stat.

Paige still had a plenty of wrestling left inside her but probably can’t make a comeback ever in a wrestling capacity. Rather, the GM role is reserved for her on Smackdown Live.

Back in a live event in December 2017, Paige suffered a serious concussion that never allowed her to recover.

With that being said, her co-workers as well as, the fans all around the world reacted on this news wishing her the best in future and the squared circle missing a pure wrestling gem.
