We did not expect to see this match happening in WWE programming, ever. Brock Lesnar is reckless monster whom none of the superstars have been able to tame for the past six years. Putting Daniel Bryan against him does not seem right especially considering his comeback from a neck injury. The beast is perhaps twice of his size that made the matchup unreal.
Previously, AJ Styles was the one to take on against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. It would have been a rematch from last year that changed only on this past Tuesday Night. Daniel Bryan defeated Styles for the WWE Championship becoming the new title-holder. So he received ‘a first-class ticket to go to the suplex city’ being the champion who represents Smackdown Live.
No doubt, some of the fans were eager to see how this match passes by at Survivor Series. But some of them were really worried about the condition of Daniel Bryan following the match. Is his neck okay to digest such devastating German Suplexes. This could take his career into jeopardy, once again.
Daniel Bryan took interesting strategy before the bell rang for this Survivor Series match. He tried to enter the head of Brock Lesnar. Once the match started, he targeted the legs of the Universal Champion, right away. Bryan went out of the ring and started circling before Lesnar caught him with a kick followed by a Lariat.

Brock Lesnar started delivering German Suplexes as the fans at Survivor Series started chanting Suplex City. Even the beast himself joined the chants before giving a couple of belly-to-belly suplexes to Daniel Bryan. Lesnar pulled him back into the ring to deliver a lazy spinebuster. Suplexes followed before Brock decided to go for an F-5.
But Daniel Bryan landed on the feet knocking the referee out. He delivered a low blow to Lesnar setting up for the Running Knee. He eventually hit the move with a second attempt putting the beast down. The fight went outside the ring as Lesnar tried to hit Bryan with the steel steps. But he moved out of the way sending Lesnar into the ring post.

Back inside the ring, Daniel Bryan hit Lesnar with a missile dropkick followed by the Running Knee. He trapped the beast into the Yes lock who managed to escape. He continued to hold the grip on but Brock stood up and hit him with a vicious F-5 for the win. This led Team Raw to pick up a clean sweep at Survivor Series with the score being 6-0 on their side.
