Men’s traditional Survivor Series tag team elimination match reflects the rivalry between WWE Raw and Smackdown. It gathers five prime superstars from the red side to go up against five similar, from the blue side. Over the years, we have seen such matches with major stipulations attached to it. This year, Braun Strowman from WWE Raw had some prizes waiting for him if he could ensure the win.

The full Survivor Series team from WWE Raw featured Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre. Baron Corbin was the team captain for this match, being the acting general manager. But Stephanie McMahon depended on Strowman to make sure the win happens. She announced that the behemoth will receive a title opportunity once WWE Raw comes out as the winner.

The situation on Smackdown was pretty much chaotic as there was a big change on the side. Daniel Bryan was out of the Survivor Series team after he became the new WWE Champion. Jeff Hardy replaced him despite losing his qualifying match. The rest of four members on team blue were The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, and Shane McMahon. The Miz also served as the team captain from his side.

Drew McIntyre tagged himself into the match keeping Braun Strowman away. Samoa Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch right away on McIntyre who used the ropes to be free. Samoa went up only to receive a Claymore Kick to get out of the Survivor Series match via pinfall. Jeff Hardy entered the match to turn the pace around the favor of Team Smackdown.

Shane McMahon and Dolph Ziggler got respective tags to recreate the lineups from WWE world cup. McMahon gave a float over DDT on Ziggler for a two-count. Ziggler came back with a Fammesser followed by a Zig-zag. The Miz saved the match keeping McMahon alive in this Survivor Series match. The Miz and Ziggler continued the match as all the team members beat out Braun Strowman outside the ring.

They laid him down on the table as Shane McMahon delivered an elbow through it to keep the monster down. Inside the ring, Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio picked up the pace of the match with quick moves. Mysterio successfully connected with a 619 followed by a springboard splash to eliminate Balor.

Ziggler and McMahon received the tag after Hardy nailed Ziggler with a Twist of Fate. McMahon connected with a coast-to-coast on Ziggler to eliminate him from the match. Bobby Lashley entered the match to punish McMahon for sometimes. Braun Strowman got back to his feet and swatted Hardy off a top rope move. He hit the Running Powerslam to eliminate Hardy.

The Monster among Men went on a rampage as he followed with two more Running Powerslams on Mysterio and The Miz. Both men from Smackdown were out of the match leaving Shane McMahon high and dry. McMahon missed a top rope move and tried to bring some offenses with an avalanche. But Braun Strowman planted him with a Running Powerslam to secure the victory for WWE Raw at Survivor Series.
