Tessa Blanchard remains a top WWE prospect for the past couple of years although no such revolving was heard in recent times around a potential signing. Rather, she has been involved in yet another unfortunate incident that may have led her to trouble. Perhaps, WWE or any other top promotion has lost interest in her if the recent reports are any indications.
Tessa Blanchard was the first-ever women’s World Champion in Impact Wrestling after she defeated Sami Callihan back in 2020. She carried the promotion on her shoulder both as men’s and women’s division champion after which things went in a downward direction for her. Controversy exploded around her after she denied appearing for Impact TV tapings.
WWE Prospect Tessa Blanchard-WOW Conflict Started In Early January
She was eventually released by Impact Wrestling in 2020 after no-showing for events for a significant timespan. She was also alleged to have called La Rosa Negra the N-Word to her face but obviously, those allegations were denied by her. Now, it appears that she is done with another company.

Tessa Blanchard has made situation tougher for herself
Starting in last year’s October, Tessa Blanchard had started working with the WOW promotion but she had a huge fallout recently. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief is that the fallouts have forced Tessa’s time to come to an end with WOW. With that, the belief is that she has burned yet another bridge to make her return to professional wrestling. This is obviously not a good sign for a professional wrestler’s career.
While nothing in detail is confirmed about the fallout between WOW and Tessa Blanchard, reports claimed that the latter made a joke about wrestler Samantha Sage, also known as Americana, during a class in mid-April. This didn’t go well among the female talents and as a result, those tapings have to be canceled, for the time being.
As if the N-word controversy would keep Tessa Blanchard away from getting signed by WWE and AEW. Now, this recent disassociation with WOW would make the top wrestling promoters believe that she is not someone who is easy to work with. At one point, rumors claimed that La Rose Negra, the recipient of Blanchard’s slur was pitched to work with her in WOW. However, no such angle is happening, at least for now.
