No matter how much WWE is successful with giving enough substantial content in their weekly shows there will always be enough contents regarding the rumors. The rumor mill was filled with WWE’s Wrestlemania planning, new DVD release and the future of the Braun Strowman.

New face for the franchise

WWE is promoting Stephanie McMahon as the new face of the company. Apparently, they are trying to push the face so much in the social media that they have hired a PR agency to do the same. This is good for WWE as Stephanie has been highly active in the social ventures as of late and especially considering the uncertainty regarding John Cena’s career. The only problem lies with the character she plays on screen. She basically portrays a power hungry, obnoxious, evil woman persona who is willing to do anything to be on the top as a part of the Authority, which is totally different from that of a social brand ambassador.

 

Big time return in the coming weeks?

Rey Mysterio is currently under contract with the Lucha underground and performing for them. However, since his sudden hiatus shows his fallout with the company and also his contract, which is about to expire. Once that is done WWE will jump for him once again for sure and, this time, he will surely be on his way back to home. But if he does return after 2013, he will demand a lighter schedule i.e. he will not feature in the shows as a full-time wrestler, which resembles Chris Jericho’s contract.

Wrestlemania plans for Ronda Rousey

WWE is obviously nurturing the idea of using Ronda Rousey at the main event of Wrestlemania 32 somehow after she had a successful outing last year at the event. She was supposed to be involved in an actual match up this year but due to UFC president Dana White’s denial that plan went towards a downward direction. The current plan is to have Ronda somehow involving in the main event between Roman Reigns vs. Triple H which will be for the WWE championship. The match is also supposed to feature with the Rock, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon. Ronda’s presence has not been confirmed yet and WWE will surely drop the news, once that being concrete.

 

Plan change for Braun Strowman

WWE has changed the idea of Undertaker vs. Braun Strowman feud due to the negative fan reactions over the internet. The new planning is to let Strowman win the Andre the Giant, memorial battle Royal and if he can follow it with a success then he will go on to face Brock Lesnar at this year’s Summerslam and also will be included in the WWE championship scenario post-Wrestlemania season. Every single decision regarding Strowman though will be decided by Vince McMahon himself. As for Taker, his Wrestlemania opponent is still not confirmed.

 

New DVD plans to feature a Hall of Famer

WWE is planning to release a DVD featuring Hall of Famer Scott Hall who had both interesting professional and personal life. Fans demand is the basic reason for the DVD and will be greeted with a warm response from the fans. Also, various footages were taken during last week’s RAW when Daniel Bryan took retirement. Bryan’s retirement and the footages are expected to be part of a new Daniel Bryan original series for the WWE Network or a new WWE DVD. WWE backstage officials and former wrestling legends are rumored to be greatly saddened by the sudden retirement of Daniel Bryan.
