Plans for Summerslam
Previously, the plan for Summerslam was John Cena and Roman Reigns having a flag-bearer match at the event. But, the recent plan of splitting the brand, have nixed the previous plans. The return of Seth Rollins caused the renewed rivalry between him and Roman Reigns and the plan is to continue the feud until the biggest event of the summer comes around. A series of matches will take place until then and Summerslam may see the end of the rivalry. Brock Lesnar, too will have a bigger role to play at the event for sure but his opponent for the event is still not confirmed.
