Goldberg’s status
Goldberg has been featured in the trailer of WWE 2K17 video game and thus paved his way for a path-breaking return much like it happened in the case of The Ultimate Warrior and Sting. With a number of rumors coming around him, the situation is still frozen between him and WWE. They are yet to have a sit down that can open the door for the former WCW champion. The talks are that upon his return Goldberg’s possible opponent will be Brock Lesnar. WWE had a sign of the Suplex City on the video game to tease the same. This would also rekindle their unfinished rivalry after which they both left the franchise.
