Smackdown coming live on USA Network
Post brand split season, Smackdown will air live on USA Network from July 19th on Tuesday nights. The decision was needed to make the USA Network happy and it was not fully a Creative decision. Since Smackdown has moved to USA Network, it had gained many ratings and the channel officials were not happy with it. So, to make them happy WWE came up with the idea of making Raw and Smackdown equal. Thus, the idea of bringing Smackdown live came to fruition. Alongside this, John Cena will return to Smackdown to boost the show.
