WWE News: Triple H Disclosed How Match Against Jinder Mahal Happened 1

WWE Live in India returns to New Delhi to hold a super show that will feature all the superstars from the WWE Raw roster.

Names like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Kane, Braun Strowman, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss will perform on tonight’s show. The main event of the night will witness Triple H taking on Jinder Mahal which is getting promoted as the biggest main event in this history of our country.

In case you don’t know, while announcing this live show in India, WWE put another match as the main event. Initially, Jinder Mahal was supposed to defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. Back then, he was the longest reigning WWE Champion on the rebuilt Smackdown Live brand. But, the match card changed in due course confirming that Triple H will perform for the first time in India.

Triple H recently gave an interview to ESPN where he disclosed how the match against Jinder Mahal came to fruition in India. He also noted about the potential reactions from the crowd when he steps into the ring to perform against the hometown favourite.

The Cerebral Assassin revealed the match got planned after his promotional tour in India, early this year. The EVP of talent relations in the WWE arrived in Mumbai to officially launch the program where he encountered numerous questions about the capability of the Modern-day Maharaja.

The veteran came to know the people were doubting Jinder Mahal as the marquee superstar and questioning about him representing the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world. So, Triple H wanted to put himself against the India-native. It would allow him to prove his talent against the King of Kings of WWE.

Here are the words from The Game while getting asked about the people’s reaction in India and in which avatar they would like to see him,

“I don’t know. I’m a lot better at being the villain. It would be interesting to see when we get there. I’ve been cheered, and I’ve been booed. If the fans want to support me because they have been watching me for the last 20-plus years, that’s great.”

Going by the words of Triple H, it is likely he would digest a loss at the hands of Jinder Mahal to put him over. Once this happens, the people in India would certainly keep faith in him who would be going for his second title reign at the Clash of Champions.
