Unlike the recent few openers of Smackdown Live where Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon tried to sort their issues out, this week the inclusion of AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn into the context made things quite an interesting one.
In addition, the crowd loved the announcement of a handicapped match in the main event. So, it was a decent opener.
Very good opener to build to what could be a fun main event featuring Owens and Zayn vs. Nakamura, Orton and Styles, really enjoying the constant tease of issues between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan right now #SDLive

The opening match between Becky Lynch and Ruby Riott was quite good, too. Unless the faction in Raw, Absolution, the leader of the Riott Squad is continuing to show her veteran in-ring skills, on a weekly basis. So, a big push might be reserved for her soon.
Good match between Becky Lynch and Ruby Riott tonight, Riott continues to impress with her polished in-ring skills since her debut as part of the main roster #SDLive

Mojo Rawley has been on a winning streak, lately after turning into a heel, last month. It is good to see the heel superstar getting a push on the Smackdown roster. This young man has a lot of potentials and can get utilized to a big extent. Unfortunately for him, he will have to face Bobby Roode in the next round. So, he might end up losing and get out of the tournament.
Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin continued to take their characters into a heelish way by cutting promos on a weekly basis. They were quite good with the mic, this week too that earned them the chance to pick up the tag team championships at the Royal Rumble. However, it was not good to see them getting chosen in the title capacity over Rusev and Aiden English.
Really good main event presentation from #WWE tonight, loved the added involvement of Shane McMahon restarting the match more than once to stack the odds against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn tonight #SDLive

The main event on Smackdown turned out to be a good one with multiple twists in store. It was presented nicely to keep the fans on their toe. The finishing was good, as well with Nakamura and Orton hitting their pendant moves to the delight of the crowd. Overall, it was a good show that did not disappoint.
Overall, a pretty fun show from the blue brand tonight in Alabama, we got a lot more advancement involving the #RoyalRumble, a fun main event, The Bludgeon Brothers squashing people, Ruby Riott impressing in the ring once again – good effort tonight #SDLive
