WWE: Twitter Reactions from the Latest Episode of Smackdown Live: October 3, 2017
Oct 4, 2017 at 4:58 PM
It was the final episode of Smackdown Live before getting the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV on the WWE Network on this Sunday. Apart from the Women’s Championship match, the other segments were well enough to hype up the matches to take place on that night. All the reigning champions are heading into the PPV with enough momentum on their sides.
Starting from the segment between Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura, the WWE champion gained the upper hand by putting down the contender with a Khallas move. The current belief is that he will hold the title until December to come to India with his title. The storyline angles were also made so that he can get portrayed as a stronger one.
The same can be said for the challenger for the Women’s title, as well. The champion, Natalya had a dominant showdown during the tag team match and made none other than The Queen, Charlotte Flair to tap out. It was a huge victory heading into Hell in a Cell and a rare occasion, where the most dominant female performer looked weaker.
Not a bad way to end the show. Kevin Owens looking very, very strong heading into #HellInACell. Interesting to make it falls count anywhere.

The main event segment between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon was able to close Smackdown on a higher note. The heel one got the upper hand showing why he is dangerous inside the Hell in a Cell structure. It was done to show why Owens should not get neglected going into the match.
Overall, it turned out to be a decent show which could have been better, for sure. But, the efforts were good from the creative team. Here are the Twitter reactions from this week’s show:
