This week’s WWE Raw from Des Moines, Iowa kicked off with a hard-hitting contest between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt.
This was a good change in the planning of the show. In general, we do get an opening segment setting up matches for latter the night. In contrast to that, there were promo segments, and we headed straight into this matchup where the Big Dog picked up the win.
Although, the crowd booed Roman Reigns, but it was less in comparison to last week’s crowd reaction from Philadelphia. With Jason Jordan dealing with the injury, the Big Dog was forced to compete a second time in the night.
Seeing Rollins going against The Bar since mid-2017 make things stale, for sure. Also, we remain confused about the injury status of Jason Jordan who is being sidelined from competition for quite sometimes.
Overall not a bad #RAW at all. Lots of mostly good action, but the lame crowd kind of hurt the presentation at times. Good build for #EliminationChamber.

The announcement from Kurt Angle about the Elimination Chamber contest fell short to a big extent considering his poor promo-cutting skills. It is why Stephanie McMahon was missed on the show, for sure.
Perhaps, to make up the segment, Alexa Bliss was called down to the ring who had a really funny segment with the GM. The Goddess is still the very best on the mic.
Boy oh boy — Angle continues to have a tough time with his promos. That was a pretty poor effort on his part tonight. The women’s #EliminationChamber doesn’t look that exciting with the competition revealed. I did like Alexa Bliss’ retort though. Good stuff from her. #RAW

The singles match between Asuka and Bayley was poorly booked, especially for the latter one. The Hugger has lost all her charms from the NXT days with the crowd not backing her up, at all.
So, there was no doubt of Asuka’s win in the contest. Instead, this win and the confrontation between Bayley and Sasha might set up a future feud between these two.
Good twist to have Elias pick up the win. I absolutely loved Braun Strowman playing to the crowd. It’d be a total shame if #WWE doesn’t capitalize on this popularity and put him into the title match against Lesnar and Reigns at #WrestleMania. #RAW

The main event triple threat match on WWE Raw was a solid one to end the night. The officials continue to put over Elias with the help of John Cena. It was a surprise to see the younger superstar pinning the Cenation Leader to get an advantage heading into the Elimination Chamber match.
The crowd also loved the way Braun Strowman destroyed both his opponents after the match.
Overall not a bad #RAW at all. Lots of mostly good action, but the lame crowd kind of hurt the presentation at times. Good build for #EliminationChamber.
