WWE: Twitter Reactions from this Week’s Smackdown Live: March 13, 2018 1

The expected face-off between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura kicked things off for last night’s Smackdown Live.

This received a huge pop from the fans since this was the first time that these two appeared to build up a match. The promo was good, from the Phenomenal One.

However, it would be hard for the creative team to get the interest intact heading into the Wrestlemania match. It is tough with both of these names being babyfaces.

It was pretty interesting to see Jimmy Uso and Big E teaming up on Smackdown Live. They went against one another on multiple times in their career, but this time around, they were seen on the same page.

A good match was delivered by them against the Bludgeon Brothers who kept the momentum in their favour. It will allow them to earn a title shot that might be coming up at the Wrestlemania 34 event.

Asuka made her debut on Smackdown Live with a good promo against Charlotte Flair. This woman can create magic inside the ring with Charlotte being paired with her.

We will be looking forward how this match gets built up in the upcoming weeks. As for last night, Asuka has all the potential to back it up for the strong words those have come out of her mouth. It was a short but effective promo.

The match between Roode and Jinder Mahal was not up to the mark. But, it continued the momentum in the United States Championship rivalry which is quite compact, at this time.

The Modern-day Maharaja has picked up the win against both Orton and Mahal for two consecutive weeks which is why he deserves an opportunity for the title. We expect to get a triple threat match at Wrestlemania amongst them.

The ending of this week’s Smackdown Live was a solid one, just like the way Kevin Owens attacked Vince McMahon. It was good to see Owens and Zayn getting booked into a singles contest at the biggest event of the year.

Furthermore, Shane McMahon was sent into a hiatus after suffering the massive ambush. By this storyline perspective, we would not see him around in the upcoming future.

It was a pretty good effort from the Smackdown team to pull off a great show. Check out the Twitter reactions from it,
