WWE: Twitter Reactions from This Week’s Smackdown Live: March 27, 2018
Mar 28, 2018 at 6:59 PM
WWE Smackdown Live opened with quite an interesting note with Rusev getting added to a title mix.
This man is a hot favourite amongst the fans. So, letting him simply compete at the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal would be a complete waste of his talent.
So, it was a huge win for him in the opening contest. He pinned Randy Orton in a fair way which is quite a big achievement.
A little long, but the result of this tag match is interesting. Rusev is red hot right now and has pinned the US Champion. Can he possibly be added to the #WrestleMania #USTitle match? Strike while the iron is hot, #WWE! #SDLive

It was the only women’s division matchup that was a decent one, too. Charlotte was not present on the show owing to her injury which is why Becky Lynch was given over duties.
She did fair living up to her name giving us quite a decent matchup. Ruby Riott does her job like no one with her wrestling and mic skills alongside the heel person which makes things easier for her opponent. Big things should be reserved for her in the future.
Daniel Bryan’s Wrestlemania challenge managed to rise a half-sleepy audience of Smackdown Live in Pittsburgh. We did not expect to hear Shane McMahon’s name in the announced match after WWE.com broke the news of his hospitalization.
Hence, the confirmation of Bryan and McMahon teaming up at the biggest event of the year is huge news, indeed. Plus, we can only imagine the ovation that Daniel Bryan will receive as a competitor once he comes back to wrestle in New Orleans.
Another great segment with Daniel Bryan. Interesting that he said Shane McMahon will be ready to go for #WrestleMania. Bryan definitely woke up the sleepy Pittsburgh crowd. If he can stay healthy, he could reclaim his spot as the biggest star in the company. #SDLive

The momentums are in favour of the Bludgeon Brothers who were kept intact on last night’s Smackdown, too. The Bludgeons have been able to under the skins of New Day and Usos, simultaneously.
This is indeed a good thing for talents like Harper and Rowan. After being neglected for a long time, they will finally be able to compete at Wrestlemania in a tag team match, as per the current scenario.
I am absolutely loving The Bludgeon Brothers right now. Harper has been such a great talent for so long. Glad he’s finally getting a shot at something big. I thought it was a crime he wasn’t in the #WWEChampionship match last year at #WrestleMania. #SDLive

Nakamura picked up yet another consecutive win on his route to Wrestlemania 34. It was a decent matchup against Shelton Benjamin in the main event segment.
The promo was not well delivered by The Artist, but the audience has now been getting into the ‘knee-to-face’ thing. The teasing of connecting it to Styles’ face was an interesting thought which actually never happened.
Not a bad match at all with Nakamura and Benjamin. It wasn’t big on the promo exchange between Nakamura and Styles, but the “Knee to face” thing was really good. #SDLive

Overall, it was an average episode of Smackdown Live which did not live up to the expectations. Check out the Twitter reactions from it,
