It was a thunderous crowd in Montreal, Canada, last night on WWE Raw.
The number of boos that got heard for Roman Reigns was something much predicted. It might be the reason why WWE is still not willing to hand him over the Universal Championship. The three hometown boys, Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, were sent to the opening segment, as the crowd gave a loud pop to them.
It set up the six-man tag team action, later the night on WWE Raw. The crowd was initially inactive but got into the match, as the pace picked up.
Quite expectedly, Braun Strowman finished off the contest in style with his Running Powerslam. This man is more than over with the crowd and the better backup plan for Roman Reigns, for sure.
I am loving everything about Braun Strowman. It really seems like he’s the backup plan to the Roman Reigns experiment, which is feeling more and more dead with each passing week. Strowman came across like a total superstar tonight, as usual. #RAW

WWE is trying to build up a feud between Bobby Roode and Elias which is just not clicking off.
Ever since coming from Smackdown Live, the Glorious One is yet to find out his best form. He is jobbing to Elias on a weekly basis. This week, it was awful to see him messing up the spot entirely while hitting the top ropes. He missed the turnbuckle with a long distance which was clear from the replays.
I didn’t think the Bliss/Riott match was anything to write home about. Just them doing stuff. Then Riott hit that awesome cannonball senton splash and brought me back into it. That looked awesome. #RAW

The women’s division had nothing special to do on this week’s WWE Raw apart from the random matches.
Ronda Rousey was a special attraction, of course, as the crowd loved seeing her standing outside the ring. The match was an average one with Nattie picking up the win.
In the other match, Ruby Riott had the skilful displays to make the contest entertaining for everyone and rightfully won it, too.
My only fear is that as Rollins and Balor continue to have great matches almost weekly, WWE will go to the well once too often like when Rollins and Ambrose were having great matches against The Bar. That went on for months and got old. #RAW

The main event of WWE Raw was pretty good between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.
But, the problem with this match is the repetitiveness. Even before the Wrestlemania season, we have seen these two going against each other on numerous occasions.
As per the upcoming advertisements, they will have some more matches which are bound to make the capacity, pale.
Not a bad #RAW at all. The crowd really made this show feel special. I figured they’d be lagging after the hellacious travel they’ve endured, but everyone came with their working shoes on tonight. Good stuff. Looking forward to #Backlash.
