The start of the Hell in a Cell 2017 edition was great by virtue of the tag team championship match inside the steel structure. A tag team tornado stipulation was inserted into it to make the match even more interesting where all the four men involved were able to compete, simultaneously.
It made the tag match between the two veteran teams to pull out all the stops and took full advantage with weapons in hand. There were several mark-out moments during the contest after which the Usos emerged as the winner and five-time tag champs in the WWE.
Really good tornado tag between New Day and Usos, loved the creative uses with weapons tonight, all four men worked super hard #HIAC

Loved the build for Orton vs. Rusev, match was a complete snooze fest and major letdown #HIAC

But, going forward, the show fell flat to a great extent. The match planning for Rusev and Randy Orton was bad. Despite these two being the veteran workers, they failed to deliver an exciting match. The same can be said with Ziggler vs Roode which saw an end via a quick roll-up.
The Women’s title match was also a major letdown with a DQ finish. At one point, Charlotte even forgot to sell the right injured leg which was indeed a lame effort by The Queen. Jinder and Nakamura brought back the pace into the PPV to some extent, as the champion thrillingly retained his title.
Overall, this was a pretty underwhelming show until that main event and the big surprise assist by Zayn, hell of a way to close it out #HIAC

All the fuels were reserved for the main event bout between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens. A fight at the top of the Cell structure was indeed worth a watch. In the end, Sami Zayn showed up turning into a heel and costing Shane the matchup which was a major move from the creative. He is expected to get a huge push with it, going forward. Meanwhile, here is the twitter reactions from the Hell in a Cell 2017 PPV:
