WWE: Twitter Reactions to this Week’s Episode of WWE Raw: April 23, 2018
Apr 24, 2018 at 4:12 PM
WWE Raw kicked off with the one and only Brock Lesnar, last night. Paul Heyman was present by his client’s side, as always.
He delivered another solid promo to hype up the accomplishments of the beast incarnate before Roman Reigns interrupted. It was a good thing to keep them separated for now since we have already seen enough of actions between them. The rest has been save for greatest Royal Rumble.
Another killer promo from Paul Heyman. No one can sell a match quite like this guy. Totally old school. I loved Lesnar mugging for the camera. I’m glad they didn’t have any action between Lesnar and Reigns. We saw enough of that at #WrestleMania. Save it for the #GRR. #RAW

We have considered of a better start for Bobby Roode on WWE Raw which was not the case. In his first solo match on the show, he ended up losing the contest which is not a good thing for him, at all.
Elias benefitted from this by capturing a huge win against the former US Champion.
Well I thought the change to #RAW would give Bobby Roode a fresh start after a disappointing #SDLive run, but here he is being pinned by Elias in his first singles match. Gotta give this match an “Eh.”

The Sami and Kevin show did not have a bad outing, at all. They tried their very best to deliver with the mic in hand. But, the conversation with the WWE Raw GM went long enough to make it feel dragged, at times.
Later, these two were forced to team up against Lashley and Strowman. The support for the latter one on the show was incredible from the fans which indicate that Strowman is the hottest property in WWE Raw, right now.
Not a terrible debut episode of The Sami and Kevin Show, but it started to drag toward the end. Everything seems kind of drawn out. They’re in the midst of a hellacious schedule. Africa over the weekend, Saudi Arabia this weekend, then a European tour. Yikes. #RAW

The rest of the show was a random buildup for the Greatest Royal Rumble event. The superstars were seemingly seen caught up with the hectic schedule. They have just come back from South Africa and will have to head to Saudi Arabia and then again will have to go to the European Tour.
Ronda Rousey continues to be one of my favorite things in WWE. That take down and quick arm bar to Mickie James was the best thing in that entire match. She could use some work on her emoting, but she’s got the makings of a great wrestler. #RAW

The main event segment on WWE Raw witnessed another random matchup from the women’s division. The only interesting thing about it was to see Ronda Rousey, towards the very end.
This lady has become the greatest babyface power in the women’s division putting the heels off, just like that. So, the interesting ally between Rousey and Natalya continued that will see a bigger culmination.
All in all, this show was one long promo for the #GreatestRoyalRumble, which isn’t a bad thing. They’re going really hard for this show. Hopefully it’s not like other WWE Network specials that looked good on paper, but didn’t deliver. Not a bad show, not a great show. #RAW

Since the women aren’t going to Saudi Arabia they should have a Women’s only house show. #RAW
