WWE: Twitter Reactions to this Week’s Raw: February 26, 2018
Feb 27, 2018 at 2:19 PM
The Wrestlemania season officially kicked off last night with the reigning WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss.
It was good to see her getting the spotlight that she deserves. At this point, the officials are trying to portray her strongly so that she can match up to the level of Asuka. With that being said, it is almost certain that Asuka vs Alexa Bliss is happening at ‘Mania.
Pretty good opener putting some attention on the Women’s Division on the red brand, Alexa Bliss is one of the rare talents who doesn’t sound like a robot remembering lines when she cuts a promo, looks like we are indeed getting Bliss vs. Asuka at #WrestleMania in six weeks #RAW

The following tag team match turned out to be quite interesting with the tensions getting heated up between Sasha Banks and Bayley. Last night, the Hugger took the first step to turn into a heel shortly. The fans would definitely love to see these two going at each other considering their enriched history.
The crowd present on WWE Raw in Anaheim literally marked out after hearing John Cena issuing the challenge to the Undertaker. It is a well-executed storyline by the creative team where they continued to play with the fans who are speculating whether Undertaker will resurface, one more time to perform at Wrestlemania.
That was a well executed promo by John Cena with the bait-and-switch tease challenging The Undertaker for a match at #WrestleMania, awesome move by #WWE to mess with the crowd, interested to see what Cena does on #SDLive tomorrow night #RAW

Another good move by WWE was to keep Brock Lesnar off the show. The natural buildup by having a confrontation between him and Roman Reigns would have received a negative reaction. Instead, The Big Dog addressed Lesnar’s absence to cut a strong promo pointing out the hard work that he puts off, on a weekly basis.
This was much-needed for him after the backlash that he is receiving following the Elimination Chamber win.
Two great matches were reserved on WWE Raw featuring The Miz. It was good to see Seth Rollins getting the spotlight by defeating him. Furthermore, Balor pinning the champion, as well, pointed out that a triple threat match is reserved at Wrestlemania over the Intercontinental Championship.
We got a three hour build up with repeated video packages of Ronda Rousey last night at #WWEChamber…for that? What a weak way to close what was a pretty fun show, I know they seem to be building towards Ronda/Angle vs. Triple H/Stephanie at #WrestleMania but yikes #RAW

After an exciting show put over on WWE Raw, the final segment did disappoint to an extreme level. There was nothing new stored for Ronda Rousey. It is almost certain that WWE is heating this feud up towards a Ronda-Kurt Angle vs Triple H-Stephanie match. But, the segment was a pretty dud one to close this week’s WWE Raw.
Overall, a show that had a very solid 2 1/2 hours of good pacing that ended with a complete dud of a final segment involving Ronda Rousey, even Anaheim was left feeling pretty underwhelmed by how they decided to close that out tonight, what a disappointing ending #RAW

How can you hate Roman Reigns after a money promo like that?
If they let him talk passionately like that all the time he’d be much more universally liked. #RAW.
