Jeff Hardy had quite a strong run ever since coming back from the shoulder injury. Last summer, he had a ruptured shoulder following Summerslam. After several check-ups, doctors came to the conclusion that he needs to undergo a surgery.

Once Hardy was over with it, the rehab process continued for more than six months. It kept him out of the Wrestlemania 34 event, as well.

Hardy won the United States (US) Championship from Jinder Mahal, after his return. As part of the Superstar Shakeup, Jinder moved to WWE Raw, thereafter. Per Kurt Angle, he had to defend the title against the younger Hardy, suddenly.

Once the title change happened, Jeff moved to the Smackdown Live brand to have a dominant run with the title.

The former WWE Champion is one of those few names in the WWE who are Grand Slam Champions. As per the current format of the WWE, a superstar has to win a World Championship, both the Secondary Championships and a Tag Team Championship in order to become a Grand Slam winner. Hardy has done it all in his career.

A minor roadblock was waiting for him in the bygone London episode of Smackdown Live. He did not appear in the main televised show of the evening. But, to entertain the United Kingdom (UK) fans, he competed in a championship match in the dark main event segment.

As per the previous updates, The Miz was his victim of a Swanton Bomb. By virtue of this move, he retained the title. But, the concern was that the US Champion was limping all the way during the match. The rumours took a sudden surge whether he is dealing with a major leg injury.

Thankfully, that’s not the case. His problem is a minor one and should heal within a few days. This is why Hardy was back in action, right away in the Liverpool House Show.

Hardy defeated Rusev in a live event to defend the US Championship, successfully. Now, we can definitely expect him to be back on next episode of Smackdown Live.

Check out the updates from SportsKeeda.com regarding an injury of Jeff Hardy,

“At some point during his entrance on Tuesday, Hardy tweaked his leg bad enough that WWE doctors checked on him to make sure he was okay. They eventually came to the decision that he was fit to compete and he proceeded to take on The Miz. It appears that there were few lingering effects of the injury, as he was right back in action.”
