WWE: Update on the Status of Sanity And AOP From NXT

The hardcore fans of the WWE have had always preferred NXT to be far better than the main roster. Triple H is in full control of this roster filled up with bright talents. He is the EVP of talent relations in the company.

The giant force scouts new talents all around the world and recruits the very best. This is the reason we can see talents like Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura or even AJ Styles on the main roster.

But, there’s one big complaint from the fans. We often see the push to the NXT big stars comes to an end after they get the call-up to the main roster.

Well, look what happened to the names like Finn Balor or Bobby Roode. The creative team of WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown Live literally wasted these two world-class athletes. They were the former NXT Champions and dominated the roster.

Talents like them deserved a lot better on the main roster to steal the show in nutshell. There are fears that the same might happen to the former NXT tag team champions, too.

Moreover, we are talking about The Authors of Pain and SAnitY. Both these teams managed to get into Raw and Smackdown, consecutively.

We expected a lot to be in-store for both these teams. Both these teams were the dominators during the NXT run. Now, the officials let them sit out of the televised editions. The fans are worried that they might get lost in the mix. The competition is pretty high on WWE’s weekly shows. In between, they will lose their relevance if things do not change for them.

Dave Meltzer discussed their spots on Wrestling Observer Live. He assured the fans that both the former NXT champion teams are around.

The creative team does not have any suitable idea for them. So, they do not want to bring them on the roster, sooner. There are chances that all of them will turn out to be a waste due to bad booking.

Considering their potentials, WWE does want to be in a hurry.

Check out the wrestling journalist’s comments;

“Number 1 they don’t have to let anyone go because they’re not under financial duress. They don’t wanna handoff guys that can do something. What if one of these guys they end up making a mistake about ends up being Cody Rhodes? You know what I’m saying? They’re not looking at handing these indies back anyone who can be marketable for them.”

The tag divisions on both WWE Raw and Smackdown needs a major shakeup. Inclusions of AOP and SAnitY from NXT should be the best option that they can demand.

Concluding, we hope to see impactful storylines will be in-store for them in the foreseeable future.
