As reported earlier, WWE Superstar and the 14-time world champion, Triple H was present in India to promote the upcoming WWE Live tour India.
It would happen after almost two years that the company would be visiting the country with the Raw roster. Last time, they performed at a house show in January 2016. This time around, the hype is much bigger, as none other than Jinder Mahal, an Indian native is the WWE Champion. He is supposed to feature in the main event of the show while defending the title at the Indira Gandhi International Stadium in New Delhi.
Plus, the Cerebral Assassin of the WWE has built up the hypes around the event by appearing on numerous media sessions around the country with some promising words for the emerging pro-wrestling talents from India. Plus, the Raw-branded show is going to be packed entirely with all the regular players available.
Triple H also has been part of a Facebook session while discussing the pro-wrestling culture in India. It was conducted at the Facebook office in Mumbai where the former WWE champion talked about the popular personalities around India that led to none other than Amitabh Bachchan.
During the end of the interview, The Game was asked to repeat the famous lines from Big B’ cult movie, Shahenshah, ‘Rishte mai toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah.’
Being as sporting as always, the EVP of Talent relations for WWE uttered the lines in broken Hindi which were quite funny. You can check the given video to catch the segment from the interview.
One of head honchos of the WWE was quite excited while visiting India with the huge number of talents that might come handy for the WWE in the near future. By the virtue of this, the company will be able to grab the entertainment market of the subcontinent, as well. It is the reason why they have kept Jinder Mahal as the WWE Champion, for a long time. If rumours are true, then he will remain to be the champion for the rest of the year 2017.
