Alexa Bliss has been one of the polar figures of the Women’s Evolution in the WWE. Despite not coming from a wrestling background, she went toe-to-toe with the majorly promoted Four-HorseWomen of the company, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley, the so-called figures of the WWE Women’s division to leave her legacy in the company.

Being a multi-time champion in the WWE, she earned herself widespread recognition and respect. Apart from her wrestling skills and identity in the circuit, Alexa Bliss also garnered attention from the mainstream industry. Her popularity on social media and appearance on Total Divas helped her to become a bonafide WWE Superstar who by any means can’t be underestimated.

She has been absent from WWE television programming since her loss to Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble event for the Raw Women’s Championship. Alexa Bliss revealed her journey to The Masked Singer competition

The former 5-time WWE Women’s champion first appeared on TV as she was revealed behind the alias of Axolotl on the “The Masked Singer” episode that aired on March 22nd. It was after her singing performance for the LeAnn Rimes’ song “Can’t Fight The Moonlight,” Alexa Bliss revealed her identity to the audience.

After that appearance on the FOX show, Alexa Bliss recently revealed in an interview with TV Insider that WWE themselves initially pitched the idea for her participation on the show during this absence from their television,

“We had this Christmas party where all the talent got up and sang karaoke in front of everyone and it was a contest and the winners got gift cards. I went up to sing and I froze and just started looking around and shaking and sweating and I just sat the microphone down and I went and sat down and just was so embarrassed and I hadn’t sung since.”

“I thought it would be an amazing opportunity. I’ve watched the show. I’ve had friends on the show. And it just looks like something that would be so fun to do. WWE was awesome in pitching me for the show. For me, it was more so I wanted to get over my stage fright. I have a really bad stage fright of singing in front of people. I had this karaoke thing happen a long time ago in WWE.”
